Charity Crawford is in the living room on the couch. She is wearing a white tank top and blue shorts. She has her hair in pigtails and is reading a book. She hears the doorbell ring. She looks up from her book and goes to the front door. She opens the door and sees a guy standing on the porch. He is wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. “Hi,” he says. “I’m here to see Charity Crawford.” “Who are you?” Charity asks. The guy says, “My name is Mark. I’m a friend of Charity’s. I’ve been trying to reach her for the last couple of days. I hope I’m not interrupting anything?” “Not at all,” Charity says. She closes the door. “Come on in.” Mark walks into the house. He looks around. “This is a nice place.” He sits down on a chair. “What are you reading?” he asks. “It looks like a good book.” She hands him the book. “Oh, it’s just a book I’m reading for school. It’s called ‘The Scarlet Letter’ by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I like it because it’s about a woman who gets in trouble for something she did in the past. She gets punished for it, but it’s not her fault. She’s a good person, but she made a mistake. It teaches you a lot about forgiveness…watch the video!
